The use of Aussie Travel Options is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. Please note that these Terms and Conditions are subject to change. The information, content, copy write and booking engine on Aussie Travel Options is owned by Aussie Travel Options. Any unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
Booking requests are only accepted on the condition that Aussie Travel Options User Agreement and Terms and Conditions, and the Suppliers Terms and Conditions that apply to the relevant rental vehicle have been read and understood, and that you AGREE TO ACCEPT THEM.
This user agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with the law of The State of Queensland in the Commonwealth of Australia. The actions, claims, demands or suits arising out of this agreement shall be exclusively justifiable in the courts of the said state. Aussie Travel Options has the sole authority to vary or omit any of these terms.
Images are for illustration purposes only and may vary from the actual vehicle provided. As vehicles may be upgraded or changed at any time the images may not show all variations within a vehicle category. Accuracy of information and limitation of liability
Aussie Travel Options will not be responsible for errors, omissions or misleading information in travel information and listings. Aussie Travel Options’s role in relation to your travel arrangements is limited to facilitating your booking and arranging travel documentation, and payments as applicable.
Aussie Travel Options does not accept responsibility or liability for any failure or delay on the part of any third party in providing travel services to you.
On very rare occasions, a rate may be displayed incorrectly due to our, or a vehicle supplier's error. In such a case, if you book with us at a quoted rate that is incorrect, we will notify you of any price change and give you the option to proceed or cancel. We make every effort to keep information on our site up to date, but we cannot guarantee this website is free of errors or omissions and retain the right to update or change the information published at any time.
You will be required to complete a rental agreement directly with the relevant Supplier on collection of the rented vehicle. Your rental is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective Supplier with whom the rental agreement is made. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier’s rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.
While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance.
A non refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. Either a valid Visa or MasterCard credit card is required for the deposit. Depending on the rental company, the full balance of the rental may be required 30 days prior to collection. Aussie Travel Options will advise if this is relevant to your booking. Otherwise the remaining balance is required on collection of your vehicle.
Once a deposit has been secured, you will be sent a copy of the booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to ensure all details are correct. You must ensure that this is printed out and presented at the time of vehicle collection.
The credit card information used to secure the booking and your details may be passed onto the vehicle rental supplier in order to charge the remaining balance.
All prices will be quoted in Australian Dollars. All prices include Australia Goods and Services Tax of 10%.
To make a booking you must complete our booking form and payment details (credit card number, expiry date, name on card) which is easy to follow. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice. The deposit required to secure your vehicle (as shown on the secure booking page) will only be processed on your credit card when your booking is confirmed. Aussie Travel Options reserves the right to decline any booking at their discretion.
A booking is confirmed when you have been emailed a confirmation voucher and at this stage the deposit is processed on your card and becomes non-refundable and any cancellation fees stated in the supplier's terms apply. Upon receipt of your confirmation, please check your details carefully and notify us immediately if there are any incorrect details, as it may not be possible to make changes at a later date.
If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.
Vehicle Capacity and Fitness To Drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you. Aussie Travel Options accepts no liability for personal injuries and losses.
Privacy and Security
The privacy and security of the information you provide is of most importance to us. Our secure booking server uses 256 bit encryption which ensures the highest levels of security. This is shown by the padlock in the closed position at the base of your browser screen. Any information, including credit card details, that you enter and submit on this page will be encrypted and securely transmitted. When your transaction is complete your information is stored in an encrypted state. Aussie Travel Options may have to pass this information onto our vehicle rental suppliers. This is done so through a password protected and encrypted secure booking system.
